Jakkanna First Look Launch

Comedian turned hero Sunil, who is riding high with consecutive successes, is now playing the lead role in the film which is being made under RP Creations banner as Production No.2. Mannara Chopra has paired up with Sunil as female lead. A catchy title ‘Jakkana’ was confirmed for the film. R Sudashan Reddy is producing the film under Vamshi Krishna Akella’s direction. Title announcement and motion poster release event was held in a grand level on Friday (March 18) at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad.

Hero Sunil launched motion poster and later in press meet he said, “This is a good energetic mass entertainer. ‘Jakkanna’ title is perfectly apt to the film. After ‘Maryada Ramanna’, I’m once again working with Ram Prasad garu for this film. Raksha director Vamshi Krishna Akella has won praises from Ram Gopal Varma garu. I’m confidently saying that we are coming with a never touched concept. Jakkanna has won the glory for carving stones into beautiful sculptures. Likewise, the concept of the story is-When everyone think that the hero in the film can’t do anything and he is useless, he shows them his talent by doing great things.”

Producer R Sudarshan Reddy said, “I’m very sure ‘Jakkanna’ which is coming after ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ from our banner, will impress everyone. The film will have as much twists and turns as in ‘Prema Katha Chitram’. Sunil’s performance will stand out as highlight for the film.”

“I take this opportunity to thank producer and Sunil for giving me the opportunity to direct this film. We are planning to release ‘Jakkanna’ as summer treat. Nearly 80% of the shooting part has been completed. Final schedule shooting will start from March 24. It’s a commercial film which will entertain all sects of audience,” said director Vamshi Krishna Akella.

Sunil, Mannara Chopra, Kabir Singh, Sapthagiri, Prudhvi, Posani, Nagineedu, Rajyalakshmi, Chitram Srinu, Adurs Raghu and Raja Ravindra and some others are playing major roles in the film.
