RGV’s ‘Rai’ Mega Launch

Prominent Bollywood actor Vivek Obeoi in the title role, a new film titled ‘Rai’ is being made under maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s direction with CR Manohar (MLC) as producer and Dasari Kiran Kumar as presenter. The film is being made based on the real life story of gangster Muthappa Rai. Meanwhile, the first look of the film was revealed on May 1 at Bidadi in Bangalore in the presence of fans and audience. Reformed gangster Muthappa Rai, Ram Gopal Varma, Vivev Oberoi, CR Manohar, Dasari Kiran Kumar and some others were present at the function.

Muthappa Rai wished all the best to the entire unit members. “The film is going to costing more than 55 crores and it is going to be shot in Mangalore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Dubai, London and Kazakhstan. Mr Raju Chadha the chairman of Wave Group and Mr Sunil Lulla the chairman of Eros International have acquired the rights of Hindi version. In the same way, South India Film Chamber president has bagged Tamil rights by offering fancy rate,” said producer and director of the film.
