Attharintiki Daaredhi Thank You Meet

For the first time in Pawan Kalyan’s career, he has organized a success meet for his movie ‘Attharintiki Daaredhi’, which was directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by BVSN Prasad. The film starring Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, Samantha and Praneetha in lead roles was opened to theaters recently with super hit talk and doing extremely great at the box-office, especially at overseas despite becoming the piracy victim. On this occasion a thanks giving meet was organised by the film unit members on Sunday in Hyderabad which was attended by Pawan Kalyan, Trivikram Srinivas, BVSN Prasad, Praneetha, Nadhiya, Rao Ramesh, Raghu Babu, Kota Srinivas Rao, Sree Ramachandra, M S Narayana, Praveen Pudi, Ravinder, Reliance Sibhashish Sarkar and other members of the film unit.

Addressing his fans Pawan Kalyan said, “Since many years I’ve been into films, but I never counted the number of films I did so far. I know only to do films. I’m not used to this kind of success meets. But for the first time I felt like organizing a success meet. After almost ten years of ‘Khushi’, I’m seeing a success of that range with ‘Attharintiki Daaredhi’. However, my passion for films still continued even without success all these years only due to my fans’ love. I never got tempted for successes and at the same time never got disappointed with failures. I did feel to organize a success meet for ‘Gabbar Singh’ success, even if it was after 10 years. I’m using this success meet platform only to thank some crores of people. The piracy news has come to limelight at the time the film was ready for release but was not able to get released due to several reasons. At that time I was in Goa for ‘Gabbar Singh 2’. I did not understand what to do when I was informed on phone about the piracy news and rushed back to Hyderabad the same afternoon. Trivikram garu worked hard for 3 years and developed this script and we worked for several months and did this film by spending more than Rs 60 crores. Our entire team felt sad when the film got leaked four days before its release. So everyone were under the thought that the film would never come out due to piracy. But all of us strongly believed that the film would not fail. The reason being ‘Fans’. I completed believed that my fans are with me. They are my power. After my parents, brother and sister-in-law, it’s only fans who give me so much support. Will I exist without you? Can’t I sacrifice my life for the sake of you? That is nothing when compared to your love on me. I sincerely thank additional DGP Krishna Prasad, cyber crime SP Ram Mohan, Vijayawada Prabhakar and Ethical team for catching the pirates. Thanks to Bomman Irani. I’ve seen several actors from other languages doing films in Telugu. But Bomman Irani is one actor who learnt the language, understood his character and performed accordingly. Even at 54, he work for this film with full dedication like a student. Nadhia garu brought dignity to the character of ‘Menatta’. Initially we were not sure whether she would agree for this role as she left the industry at her early stage when she was a heroine. However she agreed to do the film when Trivikram garu approached her. It’s difficult to do a film without Aali. I get confidence when he is besides me and put his hand on my shoulder. M S garu and Brahmanandam garu are well known to me personally. He used to prepare stories for ‘Annayya’. Even when he rejects the stories, yet we used to prepare stories shamelessly. Rao Ramesh’s dialogue delivery and is involvement is excellent. He is well known to me. I sincerely thank Kota Srinivas Rao garu. My age and experience is not sufficient to describe about his acting. Praneetha did a wonderful job. Samantha is good. She showed respect for Telugu language by learning dialogues and performed her character the way Trivikram garu wanted it. She is a very disciplined actress. Not just her acting skills, I’m also impressed by her mind with social work. The government and politicians might have forgotten the Dilshuk Nagar bomb blast, but she did not forget it. She provided artificial body parts to those who lost in that incident.”

“Fans are my Pawanism. I do not know what Pawanism is. According to me, Pawanism is so many people living for our society and our country. I never had the idea of becoming a film actor. I wanted to be a farmer and maintain a small farm. I never wished to have lot of acres. My father is a government employee. So I used to think that I can lead a happy life if I get half an acre land. But I was forced to come into films. My fate forced me to become actor. Every thing in my life happened against my wish and so as my first film. Among all my films, I like ‘Gokulamlo Seeta’ and the film which I did with my own choice was ‘Tholi Prema’. That was the film which we all experience in real life. It’s a very great story with good emotions. I felt several times that a heart-touching movie like that should come once again. And finally Trivikram garu came up with one such story. Our meeting was not that great. I used to be in active mood whenever someone comes to narrate stories to me. But I still do not understand why I slept off when he was narrating his story. But he was very adamant in convincing me the story of ‘Jalsa’. Our thought processes are same. We mostly get adjusted and fight against anything at worst situation. Our battle is unpredictable. We like people and their mentalities. We love families. So he narrated the story ‘Attharintiki Daaredhi’ film. In these days, the character of ‘Menattha’ is shown cheaply in many films, but I liked the way he portrayed ‘Menattha’ equal to that of mother. The society that has no respect for women can never prosper. I whole-heartedly thank my friend and my soulmate Trivikram Srinivas. One can’t write stories just with a paper, pen and ink. I know how difficult it is to write a screenplay but I tried it too. We have certain problems in life. We keep searching for answers for the questions like ‘Who are we and what’. ‘Attharintiki Daaredhi’ is the answer to our questions," he said.

Speaking about piracy once again Pawan warned, “The police department caught people who were exposed outside but not the real persons. This is not piracy, it is conspiracy. Our film was ready for release two months ago. I’m warning those who had encouraged the pirates to do piracy. I will remember each and everyone in the coming year. Whoever it is, I’ll keep them in mind and see to it what kind of justice has to be done to them. If one thinks that this success will make me forget everything, then he is doing a mistake. We will not leave anyone. We will love, suffer, tolerate and tolerate. But the circumstances and love for the society and devotion for our country is not allowing us to say a word. We never intend to run our films only for 365 days. We are not narrow minded people to think that only our films should run in theaters forever. Only one day belongs to us. We don’t like to play stupid games. We will respond only for such small things. We will respond for video piracy only. There are many more big things happening. We will also respond to them. I’ll not believe anyone. We do not know who will back stab us, isn’t it? That’s why I’m observing. After ‘Khushi’, I can’t explain my difficult and struggles, but I too have some negative points in me. For the past 10 years I’ve been travelling with some principles and beliefs. I’m not the person who is scared of every small thing. I can bare anything with strong mind. But all these years I had to face a test to my principles and beliefs. Life itself is a big test. ‘Attharintiki Daaredhi’ is the biggest test of all. But I stood strong in it. I only wish that you all will believe my principles and values and render your support. Rs 100 crores of collection also will not make me happy as according to me nothing is valuable than your love and affection. I will recollect Devarakonda Balagangadhar Tilak’s poems during my hard times. This country will prosper if it shows the social values which fans have shown. Everyone will question me each time I say ‘Jai Hind’. I’m living on this land. So if I don’t salute this land, then to whom can I salute. I never asked anyone to watch my films and stop piracy. My favourite word is ‘Jai Hind’. So I request everyone to say that. ‘Jai Hind’!”

Trivikram Srinivas said, “Thanks to one and all who have worked for this film, Bomman, Nadhiya, my favourite Kota Srinivasa Rao garu and all technicians. My sincere greetings to Pawan Kalyan garu. This film is not possible without him. Thanks to cyber crime cell, police and Kalyan’s fans for controlling online piracy. It touched my heart and tears rolled down my eyes by the way fans carried this film on their shoulders like their own film. Yes, that’s Pawanism.”

Kota Srinivas Rao said, “The first credit of this film has to be given to Trivikram Srinivas. He is the man who knows Pawan Kalyan’s power. He told a good story. Pawan speaks less and does more. That’s the reason for his success and his best qualification. Trivikram became successful in convincing Pawan with one such wonderful subject, penned excellent dialogues and portrayed every character by connecting well with the story. ‘Attharintiki Daaredhi’ has come out with the director’s talent and the film is lucky to get a producer like BVSN Prasad. He is the producer who has good taste and heart. Hats off to him! This film would not have come out so well without him as producer. Aali is most talented actor. He is the man who thinks for everyone’s prosperity along with his. All artists did their best. This success meet is not new to Pawan Kalyan. I’ve not seen him so far thanking publicly. But he organized this event with some mental happiness. Pawan Kalyan is only a competitor for Pawan Kalyan. No one else can do that. It’s also impossible to think that way. He is practically a kind person, very down-to-earth.”
