Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Vishwas Dhumal, CSR Head, K Raheja Corp said:
"The endeavour of our CSR initiative Teaching Tree, since start, has been about empowering students from the poorer sections of society. While education is at the core and we are working towards doing away with education inequality, a carnival like this opens doors to a new world for these students. The students are extremely talented and are great at creating several artistic creations from bags to paintings, from quilling to diya’s and we thought of creating a platform for them to showcase their work and be appreciated from the world outside of their own. We want to give the students a fun day at the Teaching Tree Carnival, leaving both them and us feeling fulfilled."
Mr. Vishwas Dhumal, CSR Head, K Raheja Corp added “The carnival is intended to give the students a fun time, while allowing them a chance to showcase their skills, bolster their confidence, and feel appreciated. The employees of Mindspace have displayed their generosity in the past, when we hosted a Book Donation drive, an outcome of which has led to the successful setting up of 6 libraries in schools. We are confident of them coming forward and showcasing their benevolence this time too. We are sure anyone who comes to this carnival will take a piece of the students’ art and heart back with them."
