Hyderabad, April 16, 2017 ……Physical Literacy days, started by Pullela Gopichand has successfully completed 10 weeks. The theme of the 10 th week this Sunday was ‘talent & skills'
Rajitha Gangadevi , a student of B Pharmacy sang folk songs, while a graphic designer Maninder Pal Singh, entertained crowd with his bhangra beats.
The 1.2kms stretch of street will be a huge platform for college students and youth to showcase their talent, commented Vishala Reddy. We would like to encourage many budding talent and also would like to nurture that talent, Vishala said
I chanced upon to visit PL Days some weeks ago and never imagined that I would perform here one day, commented Rajitha, who entertained crowd with her folk songs.
In the last two and half months, PL Days has become the favourite destination for many Sunday mornings. Nearly 12000 people have directly participated in the last 10 weeks. 17 plus activities being held on every Sunday. 35 plus partners have signed up with PL days to introduce activities on regular basis. 25 special events were held.

Cycling by Kondapur Health Club ; Boxing by BcubeBoxing ; Kids games by Kids Arena ; Fitness Challenge by GRYCS ; Street Games by Pampered Kids and Kids gardening workshop by Kiddo Gardener
The objective of PL Days is to improve Sports Knowledge and Physical Literacy in India. It is an initiative of Pullela Gopichand. ‘Physical Literacy Days’ is a community engagement program that aims to bring change in the well being of people of Hyderabad from all sections/all ages, especially children by making them to adopt an active life style. Variety of fitness programs and fun activities are introduced each week and have free for people to participate. Physical Literacy Days started oon a pilot basis from Feb 12, 2017 onwards, every Sunday on a 1.2km stretch from IDBI Bank Junction to Pullela Gopichand Academy, Gachibowli. Physical Literacy Days happens every Sunday from 06.00 am to 09.00 am. It has FREE Access, and No Registration is required. All are invited to participate in this event irrespective of age, gender, and social status.
