MAA Star Night Press Meet

Movie Artist Association (MAA), is organizing a Star Night’ event on November 7 at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad, to raise funds for AP flood victims. To brief the details of the event a press meet was held at Film Chamber, Hyderabad.

In this programme MAA president Murali Mohan, Dr Dasari Narayana Rao, Dr Rajasekhar, Jeevitha, Venkatesh, \Jagapathi Babu, Nagababu, Parachuri Gopala Krishna, Kalyan Ram, Taraka Ratna, Priyamani, Hamsa Nandini, Archana, Madhu Shalini, Brahmaji, AVS and others participated.

Addressing the media Murali Mohan said, “We are very happy to note that the stars from other States are also lending their helping hand. I request you all to make this programme a successful one with co-operation.”

Balakrishna said, “This programme is being organized by the entire Film Chamber along with TV9. There are tickets and donor passes as well which we will let you know soon how to get them. All the skits are being directed by SV Krishna Reddy, Kodi Ramakrishna and Relangi Narasimha Rao.”

Dasari Narayana Rao informed, “In the Star Night event on 7th all heroes and heroines including comedians and character artists from Telugu film industry would be giving their performances for 5 hours. This event would be one of the biggest with dances, skits and comedy shows. We have announced 3 days leave for this programme. This programme will be graced by Tamil stars like Rajinikanth, Surya, Vijaykanth and Sarath Kumar and Hindi stars like Jitendra and Rajesh Khanna. We will know about Amitabh Bachchan’s visit in another two days. Another important thing I would like to say is that, we are doing this programme in order to raise funds for flood victims. Hence I request everybody to buy the tickets for this programme and not to ask for passes. Lastly I would also like to inform that South Indian Film Chamber, Nadigar Sangham and Tamil Film Producers Association are planning to meet CM Roshaiah and present their contributions.”
