Hamstech's INTERIYOUR 2017 show, that took place on May 13th came out to be a tremendously successful event. The show and sale was visited by a lot of people who witnessed an amazing display of skill and creativity of over 300 Interior Designing stu dents of Hamstech.
The event started at 10 am with the opening of students' stalls. Competitions for the students also ran simultaneously, each for about an hour, till 1 pm. The jury, consisting of eminent personalities like, our celebrity mentor, Ms. Shabnam Gupta, Dr. S. Kumar and Ms. Sona Chatwani, judged the competitions.
Following this, a press conference was convened at 4:30 pm to share the monumental news of Ms. Shabnam Gupta's collaboration with Hamstech in the capacity of Chief Advisor - Interior Design Department. Accompanying her, was Director of Hamstech, Ms. Ajita Yogesh Reddy, who expressed her thoughts on this association. As the new celebrity mentor of Hamstech students, Ms. Shabnam Gupta will offer guidance and training to the aspiring designers, at par with industry standards.
The prize distribution, in the esteemed presence of the judges (Ms. Shabnam Gupta, Dr. S. Kumar and Ms. Sona Chatwani) culminated into an atmosphere of cheer and glory. The stalls of the students ran till 7:30 pm, post which, a live band performed exclusively for the students, till 9:30 pm.

About Ms. Shabnam Gupta
Ms. Shabnam Gupta is a globally recognized interior designer with 14 years of experience. She's also the Chief Advisor for Hamstech's Interior Designing department. She is reputed for creating outlandish homes and offices for celebrities. She awes with her unique style and adaptability to the changing trends.
Shabnam is one of India's leading interior designers who has to her credit homes of Parineeti Chopra, Aditya Chopra, Rani Mukherjee, Irrfan Khan and many more. On a more hospitality front, she has pioneered interior spaces such as The Bar Stock Exchange, Intercontinental Hotel's restaurants, Sassy Spoon, Smaaash across the country. Also with respect to commercial spaces, she has designed the offices of CNBC TV 18, VidhuVlnod Chopra, The Pepperfry Studio and many other well visited outposts.
She is also one of the most awarded interior designers in the country and is known to conjure up visual wonders and is recognised for her personally tailored, client specific interiors that use bursts of colours, textures and other unique elements within a contemporary design palette. These include being listed as one of the top 10 designers to watch out for by Forbes India 2010, felicitated by AD's Top 50 award and HID to name a few.
About Ms. Sona Chatwani
Ms. Sona Chatwani is a reputed designer based in Hyderabad. She has had her education in MAVA and Interior Designing from Griffith University. She is the owner and principal consultant of SC Design Studio, a top interior design studio in Hyderabad.
About Prof. S Kumar
Prof. S Kumar is presently working as Professor and Principal at School of Planning & Architecture, JNAFAU. He graduated in Architecture from JNTU, Hyderabad. He has a Postgraduate Degree in Planning from CEPT, Ahmedabad and a Doctoral Degree in Architecture from JNAFAU. He has organized several seminars/workshops about green building design, integrated neighborhoods and sustainable cities. Before holding his current office, he was also Director of International relations Cell at JNAFA University.
