A citizen forum, Hyderabad Urban Makeover (HUM) has come up with several activities to create awareness about the pressing environment issues. The ride started with 2km children cycle ride, green ganesha making, medicinal plants distribution. Students of Manjeeram Academy of Fine Arts giving an enthralling performance reflecting the chipko movement through Bharatanatyam.
This is our 2nd edition of Hyderabad Urban Makeover environment day celebrations. Our intention is to bring likeminded people and organizations together to build relationships so that they can work collaboratively to solve several urban issues we are facing today. PL days project is one of the outcome of HUM project. We are thankful for all the NGO's and Organizations like CII Young Indians, Forest Academy, Share the Service, Live the lake etc who came forward with several community activities today, said Vishala Reddy, Founder of Hyderabad Urban Makeover & also the lead organizer of PL days.
