These were the first thoughts which resonated in our mind as we looked at the invitation for the most prestigious event across the globe. It felt like a dream.
It’s a proud moment for us as Sashi Vangapalli became the first designer from Hyderabad to showcase her Collection “Reverie” at the 70th Cannes Film Festival held from 17th May to 28th May 2017. The Hollywood diva Ana Maria Pop walked with her at the Red Carpet in her gorgeous long white gown which looked so magical. The color white felt like an obvious choice. The dream sequence was built up through the wonder feathers which were crafted and put together across the dress. And the length of the gown the silhouette had to justify it.
The vivacious and gorgeous Sushmita Sen has always had a special relationship with us and she is gracing us in this occasion to listen to Sashi’s experiences and her journey at the Cannes Film Festival.

Even though being an IT Engineer and working with a reputed MNC for 4 years, she realized Fashion was her calling. Quitting her job, she started her Label “Mugdha Art Studio” in the year 2012. Soon she gained popularity and acceptance through the Social Media.
She found many high profile and NRI Customers, who really loved her designs. She ended becoming one of the most sought after Designers from Hyderabad in a short span of time.
Known for her Bridal Couture, she creates vibrant colors for the new age Indian Brides. She draws her inspiration from people, places and nature. Her collection “Bidariya” was showcased in the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2017. It focused on creating a unique mix of western silhouettes with Indian embellishments. The vivacious Sushmita Sen graced her collection for the Lakme as the Showstopper. The garment worn by Ms Sen is still the most talked about dress at the Fashion Week.
She has also enhanced the look of many gorgeous celebrities like Tapsee Pannu, Kajal Aggarwal, Neha Dhupia and many more.
