The theatrical Adaptation of Kuvempu’s novel “Malegalalli Madumagalu”, which created a new history, is back.The play depicts people and the life around Malenadu. The depiction of its flora, fauna and people of Malenadu which is rich with tradition, mis-beliefs, superstitions are well written and expressed in the play.
This mega play is directed by C. Basavalingaiah.This theatrical experiment was a huge success when it was presented in 2010 & 2013 in Rangayana in Mysore. Seeing the enthusiasm of the audience and requests from theatre lovers, the Department of Kannada and Culture has decided to bring this cultural extravaganza back.
