Hyderabad, 14th August, 2018: Sangitanjaly Foundation a cultural organization with an inclination to promote Indian Art & Dance forms which includes Folk, Light Music, Fusion, Sufi etc. Sangitanjaly Foundation had been Organizing Jhankar in association with Telangana Tourism and the Language & Culture Dept. and have featured renowned artist in previous seasons
Jhankar has become a very popular event in Hyderabad which attempts to curate the event with the right mix of melody & rhythm.
This year Sangitanjaly Foundation has organised, "Jhankar - Season-4 features : Fusion Ensemble with Bollywood Choir & Western Symphony Orchestra and Indian Classical Sitar & Tabla For the first Time Together" in aid of Children with Autism ( Simply Give Foundation) on Tue, 14th Aug 2018 at Shilpakalavedika in Hyderabad.
Sangitanjaly Foundation endeavored to curate, create and produce Fusion Ensemble so unique and first of its kind. Jhankar 2018 season 4 has brought the right mix of Fusion between Bollywood Choir, Western Symphony and Indian Classical Music. The first half of the program featured Solo Performance on Tabla by the Queen of Tabla Ms. Rimpa Siva followed with a Sitar recital by the Maestro Abhishek Mallik accompanied by Ratul Shankar on the percussions Sayanta on Drums, Joy Dey on Base Guitar, Rishi Singh on Lead Guitar, Nishad Mohan Vaidya and Mukesh Choudhury on keyboard.
The second half had orchestra of Bollywood Choir, Westrn Symphony and Classical Instrument i.e, Sitar & Tabla conducted by the famous Bollywood Music Director Sri Pijush Dhar.
