Samantha Akkineni has kept everyone guessing with her social media posts about a new project that she will be launching soon.
Today, she has announced the launch of her new clothing brand – Saaki that is inspired by her love for fashion and her journey through life.
When talking about the inspiration to start her brand, Samantha says, “I always loved fashion, like any other girl. Growing up I could never afford fancy designer clothes. Hence, I wanted to launch a brand with good fashion that is accessible and affordable. Be it a college girl or a working women, there’s something for everyone at Saaki.”
This brand is a flagbearer for women entrepreneurship as the founder of Saaki, Sushruthi Krishna (former Femina Miss India 2016- 1st Runner up) partners with Samantha Akkineni as a co-founder. The brand hopes to empower and celebrate women through fashion.
The collections at Saaki are inspired by the Indian Fashion and are giving it a refined modern touch. It aims to bring out individuality through fashion and add value to your wardrobe.
She also talks about what fashion means to her saying, “Every woman likes to dress up and wants to feel special. I have always wanted fashion accessible to everyone so they can celebrate their individual expression through fashion. For me, Saaki is a reflection of who I am, as I am.”
