Anti Corruption Day Walk by YAC, Hyderabad

 Hyderabad, 09 December, 2020: On the occasion of World Anti-Corruption Day, a program called 'Walk Against Corruption' was organized under the auspices of Youth for Anti-Corruption. Former Chief Commissioner of the Right to Information Act Warre Venkateshwar flagged off the event, Dr.T.Varun Raju attended as Hon'ble guest.

On this occasion Former Chief Commissioner of the Right to Information Act Dr.Varre Venkateshwarlu said that the country will develop only when the youth step forward and question the eradication of corruption. It is a great thing that today's youth are coming forward and making a peaceful movement for the eradication of corruption. Over the past few years, the Youth for Anti-Corruption organization has been mobilizing the youth by making innovative programs for change in society and eradication of corruption. They want to make sure that the real beneficiaries are the people by making them aware of the government schemes. Everyone should strive for better change in the society and support such young organizations. He said that the Right to Information Act plays a major role in eradicating corruption and everyone should take advantage of it and exercise their rights.

Dr. Varun Raj said that the idea of eradicating corruption should be habtituated from the students stage and parents should take that responsibility. Government officials and leaders need to explain that they are public servants. He said that a good society is possible only when the biographies of honest people are taught to the students on moral values and they are encouraged to walk in the right path

Rajendra Palnati, founder, of Youth for Anti-Corruption, said, "We have been carrying out a number of anti-corruption campaigns for the last ten years, explaining to the youth the solutions to the problem. Everyone wants us to work tirelessly to clean up corruption.

Bangi Laxman, Jayalakshmi, Konne Devender, V. Gangadhar, G. Jayaram, Dr. Pratibhalakshmi, Dr. Annapurna, Komati Ramesh Babu, d. Swapnareddy, Maria Anthony, Bhaskar, Anjukar, Riaz and others participated.

Formation of Youth for Anti-Corruption
In 2008, Rajendra moved to Hyderabad to prepare for civil services and, in 2010 he formed Youth for Anti-Corruption as he always wanted to continue exposing and eradicating corruption. He founded Youth for Anti-Corruption 10 years ago and now it has over 45,000 volunteers working across 35 districts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The team is doing the work that is rarely done in the entire country. It has 12 government officials, including IAS and IPS as advisors. Till date, Youth for Anti-Corruption has received 12 awards, including national and state level.
