'Livewire 2011' Rocks Ascendas Parks

The V and CyberPearl celebrate the biggest event showcasing the cultural talent of IT professionals.

Hyderabad, June 10, 2011: Ascendas IT Parks The V and CyberPearl celebrate 'Livewire 2011', the annual mega cultural event of the Park. Livewire is one of the biggest cultural talent shows for IT professionals running into its 7 glorious year.

The annual event 'Livewire' celebrates talent where professionals from the tenant companies operating in the Park showcase their skills in various cultural activities like solo singing, solo & group dance, skits, fashion shows, rock show and many more.

With an overwhelming response from the parkites at The V, this year a total of 1000 employees was screened in a month-long audition process and subsequently the semi finals. The shortlisted participants made it to the grand finale.

Livewire 2011 was celebrated this Friday evening at The V, and the event venue was packed with energetic performances, with excited audience cheering their colleagues performing on the stage. The panel of judges representing various organizations within the Park had a tough time selecting the winners in various categories.

Mr. Lee Fu Nyap, Assistant CEO, Ascendas India and Head Ascendas Hyderabad said, "For 7 years in a row we have been able to provide a platform for our parkites to showcase their exceptional cultural talents. The competition gets tougher with each passing year and the organization winning in maximum number of categories becomes the Champion. The "Champion - Livewire 2011" is , winning in the maximum number of categories.

Ascendas events generate lot of excitement and participation amongst the employees, reiterating the Work and Play balance, synonymous with the organization.

The V celebrated the event on 10th June 2011 and Ascendas' second CyberPearl will be celebrating Livewire 2011 on 17 June 2011.
