16 talented girls discover the diva within them with Rumors presents Femina Style Diva South powered by MJ Infrastructure and in association with Central and Arnav Jewellery

Bangalore, December 20th, 2014: 16 girls. One big event. An all-star jury and lots of style. That's what you got at the Rumors presents Femina Style Diva South Powered by MJ infrastructure, in Association with Arnav Jewelery & Central, an event which brought out the hidden diva in 16 stylish contestants. Whether you want to be a model, a stylist or a fashionista, Femina Style Diva is all about bringing your personal style to the ramp.

Chosen from over a hundred entries, the final 16 vied for the crown of Femina Style Diva, which is a one-of-a-kind challenge that is designed to reach out to stylish young women across cities, to help them realise their latent style ambitions. Groomed by Achla Sachdev, the week-long training included meditation, ramp walking, stage presence and public speaking. Sub-contests were also held to test the contestants on fitness, accessorising, skin care and draping fabrics.

This year's FSD South saw girls from cities such as Mysore, Mangalore and across Bangalore showcase their unique style at the grand finale held at the Vivanta by Taj, Bangalore. The final winners of the evening were Bhavana Bhat, 1st runner up Netanya Scott and 2nd Runner up Duhita Sengupta.

Hosted by Cyrus Sahukar, the event saw performances by the young and extremely talented Shilpa Rao of Ishq Shava fame and Bangalore-based Dance troupe Tarantismo.

Adding sparkle to the evening was the star-studded jury panel comprising Bipasha Basu, Karan Singh Grover, Kriti Kharbanda, designer Raj Shroff, Amina Mukarram (Rumors), Ashwini Oza (Arnav) and Editor Femina, Tanya Chaitanya.

Speaking on the occasion, Tanya Chaitanya, editor Femina said, "Femina Style Diva Bangalore 2014 was a triumph of innovation and ideas in the style space. The transformation was complete as we picked out raw
talent, honed and groomed our finds and finally let them take on the ramp. We are certain the chosen divas will prove to be style influencers as the world now becomes their stage. Watch out for them!"

The evening was graced with the presence of guests such as Ramesh Arvind, Indrajit Lankesh and wife Arpita, Gurukiran and his wife Pallavi, Harshika Poonacha, Pawan Kumar, Meghna Gaonkar, Sruthi Hariharan, Kavya Shetty, Rubi Chakravarthi and Imitiaz Sharafali, Manjusha and Vikram Maheshwari.
