GAMA Tollywood Music Awards 2014

Prestigious GAMA function was held in a grand way on Friday, February 6, at Zabeel Park in Dubai. The festival was happened in a grand way amidst thousands of Telugu people from United Arab Emirates and other Gulf countries and prominent people and legends in the industry like Rebel Star Krishnam Raju couple, Music director Koti, Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry, Padmasri Brahmanandam, Devi Sri Prasad, Allari Naresh, Sarvanand, MM Srilekha and Raghu Kunche and some others. On this occasion, director Kalatapaswi K Viswanath, who delivered wonderful films which reflects Telugu culture, arts and traditions, was honoured with a life time achievement award.

Speaking on the occasion, Kalatapaswi K Viswanath said, “I’m very happy to receive this award with your love and affection. This award has encouraged me to act in many more good roles. Even though I’m not so clever, smart and educated, I’ve been successful only because of my dedication and love towards work.”

Addressing the gathering, Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry said, “It’s like a life time achievement award for all of our Telugu people to honour a great person K Viswanath.”

K Viswanath was felicitated by Rebel Star Krishnam Raju and Brahmanandam.
‘Cine Sangeetha Vibhavari’ was arranged with Padmabhushan Ganakokia Chitra, ‘Aaradugula Bullet’ Vijay Prakash, Indian Idol Srirama Chandra, Geetha Madhuri, Vandematharam Srinivas and Malathi. Dance performances of Suresh Varma group and Tollywood heroines Saloni, Sada and anchor Anasuya impressed everyone. ‘Hasyavallari’ performed by Siva Reddy group would leave everyone in splits. ‘Telugu Vaibhavam' and the theme song composed by M.M.Srilekha, were also launched at the event.

GAMA Chairman Trimurthulu said, “The event will stand out as a milestone in the history of Telugu people’s culture in Gulf countries. We will organise the events every year with the support of our Telugu people. I would like to thank everyone for making the event such a big success.”

The event which was organised by Anil Kadiyala has progressed with entertainment from start till the end.
