Devisri Prasad at Radio Mirchi

As part of ‘Oosaravelli’ promotion, Devisri Prasad visited Radio Mirchi today and spoke the listeners. Later he organized a press meet and spoke to the media.

In his speech he said, “I thank everyone for making the ‘Oosaravelli’ audio a big hit. I also thank director Surender Reddy and the entire unit members also. It gave me good energy. This is my 4th film with NTR. In general NTR’s audio will have dance numbers only. However this audio has melodies also. ‘Nenante Nake Ishtam...’ song is a big hit. NTR’s dances are great and his looks are different in this film. ‘Oosaravelli’ is blend with all elements. The script is very unique. NTR gave an outstanding performance by portraying different shades of the character. He appears very innocent and warrior as well. He is a good singer. Even though I wanted to make him sing in this film, time did not permit me to do so. By the time I planned a song with him, he left for Switzerland. The music director will compose music according to hero’s body language. So in this film also I composed songs as per NTR’s body language.”

Speaking further he said, “I chose singers from other languages only because of different voices. As far as voice is new, it doesn’t matter to which language the singer belongs. Prominence will be given only to the voice. I see to it that the singer is pronouncing the language correctly.”

When asked when he is going to act in films he replied, “Acting in films is not my main aim. However I don’t mind acting once in a while because we can cherish that after passing few years. He concluded by announcing his present projects in music. According to him he is presently doing music for Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh’, Nag’s ‘Dhamarukam’, Allu Arjun’s new film under Trivikram’s direction, Karthi’s film and Surya film in Tamil. This apart, he claimed that discussions are going on for few more films.
