GURUNUNANK INSTITUTIONS WINS “EXCELLENT CAMPUS PLACEMENT INSTITUTION” AWARD AT IInd NATIONAL ANDHRA PRADESH EDUCATION SUMMIT & AWARDS, 2015 BY CMAI

Gurunanak Institutions-Technical Campus won the “Excellent Campus Placement Institution” Award at Second National Andhra Pradesh Education Summit & Awards-2015 presented by CMAI (Association of India-Communication, Multimedia and Infrastructure) - Hon’ble Dr. K Lal Kishore-Vice Chancellor- Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Anantapur-gave the award. Hon’ble Dr. Ghanta Subbarao, Secretary Skill Development & MD, APSSDC, Government of A.P and Brig M N Venugopal, VSM (Retd) Chief – Admin & Pers-Engineering Staff College of India were also present at the occasion.

Gurunanak Institutions students which secured 800 Placements in all reputed companies was chosen for the award, and it was the first time the category of placement was introduced at the awards. GNI as it’s popularly known as has many achievements to its name. The Institutions has more than 11 Incubations & Innovations centres were the reputed companies regularly undertake their live projects, involving students from GNI. Most of the students at centres get placed in the companies after their short internships at the centres.

GNI-Technical Campus is one of the best Intuitions spread over 75 Acre sprawling area at Ibrahimpatnam, the campus has the best innovation centres, hostels and amenities of International Standards and is also known to be the best engineering college campuses in Telangana.

Speaking on the occasion G.S. Kohli-Vice Chairman-Gurunanak Institutions said “we are glad to receive the award of “Excellent Campus Placement Institution” by CMAI, we have been working towards achieving great goals for students. Our aim is to provide best Education, good skills and great placements. We at GNI strive hard to make students industry ready, we have stated incubation centres for companies, innovation centres for students and “extroverts”-a centre to make students enhance their communication skills, develops personality of students and interpersonal skills.

The award is the recognition of our efforts and will further strive hard to increase the number of placements from GNI.
