Avni became an Aesthetician in 1988 after she gained her Diploma from a renowned Central London Beauty Institute. Avni has worked in the skin and wellness Industry for over 24 years, specializing in skin care techniques, Advanced Electrolysis and IPL/Laser treatments, Aromatherpay and Thermal Auricular Therapy.
She has worked and trained with numerous well known skin and spa brands from Europe and USA - having managed and owned various skin care centers, undertaking responsibilities such as training, interviewing and inducting new staff.
Avni has been a lecturer at a Beauty Institute in Central London, teaching CIBTAC/CIDESCO Beauty Therapy diploma course to aspiring new therapists. She has been trained and certified at the International Dermal Institute in UK and USA to carry out Dermalogica training for skin care professionals at Dermalogica India. She is instrumental in setting up a 'state of the art' training facility for Dermalogica India in Mumbai.
Avni has observed that within India the level of skill required to truly treat skin professionally has typically been underestimated, undervalued and rewarded in part because the practice ismisunderstood. She adds, "Better education for therapists creates an opportunity for better client education and the combined effect is greater respect for the skincare professionals."
She has been invited to speak at various trade shows, congresses and seminars around the world. Avni is indeed a true connoisseur of skin health education in India and believes in educating her clients about skin care whilst guiding them onto a new level of skin health fitness.
