It was a historic moment for three friends - Vandana Palsani, Vandana Nathany and Neelam Garg , when Melange made its inception in 2008. With a motto to inspire fashionistas, Vandana Palsani defines Melange as a platform to showcase designer brands across the world, taking exotic fashion to the public directly. Explains Mrs.Garg, “Melange was started as a pre-Diwali sale four years ago, but the response was great and the show was a hit. From then on, there was no looking back. We gained popularity among the public as we delivered high-end designer products at an affordable price.”

Standing out as one-of-a-kind fashion exhibition in India, this fashion exhibition has been involved in charity works also. “Melange also serves for a good cause. We have been donating a part of the money to the Sadhu Vaswani school for special children , “Heal a Child” & also have associated with blue cross society through Ms. Amala informed Mrs.Palsani.

With tremendous success of their very first exhibition in Hyderabad in 2008, Melange has come a long way, being one of the bigger and grander fashion exhibitions across India. Offering exquisite fashion ensemble in diverse styles - traditional, international classic, and casual, Melange has become a fashion hub for consumers of all age groups, tastes and budgets. Now melange is successfully organizing exhibitions in Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Bangalore & Bhubaneswar exclaimed Mrs. Neelam Garg.
At Melange you can find the trendiest designers from New Delhi, Bombay, Kolkata, Jaipur, Ahmadabad, Bangalore and Pune showcasing their innovative creations in ethnic, fusion and western wear. The products on display include kurtis, saris, sequined blouses, ensembles and tunics. That’s not all, a wide range of accessories including chunky and Kundan jewelery, kids wear, menswear, handbags, evening bags, footwear and other accessories to complete the look, are showcased at the exhibition.

WHATS NEW THIS DIWALI
Designers Anju and Aaina from Kolkata arrive with a collection of dresses, suits and tunics in new range of colors and fabrics. The line is a confluence of inspiration, ethnicity and elegance.

Styled Kurtis and suits in simple cuts by Oorja-Delhi reflects design sensibility. Mandira Bansal the Chennai -based designer presents a line that’s ethnic with a contemporary cut. The other designers to look out for are Anatomy, Namrata Shah and Sole Affair from Mumbai Showcasing a ready-to-wear range of embroidered dresses and tunics in silk, organza, silk chiffon and cottons. Vima, Simran, Kashish, Alankrit will be showcasing wearable pret lines.

Another designer brand, Anita-Chennai, will display a range of saris and lehngaa’s in vibrant color and an exclusive collection of fabrics that reflects the authenticity of our Indian culture. Poonam, Varsaana and Aaina also have on display beautiful saris for the diwali season. Chandheri by Mahender Koli and exclusive Zari woven kota saris from Rajasthan are a must buy!!!
