Cake Mixing Ceremony at The Golkonda Hotel

The Cake Mixing is a community event.
This ceremony starts a few months before Christmas at the Golkonda, Hyderabad.

The resident chefs headed by Chef Anurudh Gupta along with the General Manager Mr. Akesh Bhatnagar & F&B Manager Mr. Bappa Bhattacharjee took a select audience through the paces of fruits, nuts and the art of mixing them recently in the hotel premises.

Needless to mention, Celeb 'FITNESS GURU DINAZ' took their time out from the busy schedule, and became a party to this auspicious event.
An interesting array of fruits, nuts and spices went into a huge cauldron. Endless bottles of spirits and syrups like golden syrup, molasses, honey and vanilla essence were poured into the mix while a number of gloved hands kneaded the concoction tirelessly. Everybody from the hotel participates in stirring this quite a splendid mix. Come December, this mix will be ready for baking and, of course, eating. The more to mix, the merrier the feast!
The Golkonda Hyderabad considers this a ritual to usher in the festive season, the good tidings, happiness and lots of Christmas cakes!
