Hero Srikanth visits Mirchi Studios, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, November 19th, 2012: ‘Devaraya’ is one of the most eagerly awaited drama movies has Tollywood’s senior actor Srikanth in the lead role. The star visited the Radio Mirchi Studio, Hyderabad’s hottest radio station as a part of the promotional activity for the movie ‘Devaraya’. This movie is directed by the up and coming Nani Krishna.

Srikanth went on air with RJ Bhargavi, on ‘Band Baajah’ and spoke very highly of the movie and his hopes for it. In the movie, Srikanth is playing dual role of Sri Krishna Devaraya and Dora Babu. He excitedly shared, “Devaraya is an imaginary story of 1500 years. Initially I was little doubtful whether I could do a periodic film such as this. However my confidence level has increased after ‘Sri Ramarajyam’. This movie has good entertainment along with two variations. I’m very lucky to get the opportunity to do the role of Sri Krishnadevaraya as well as a rich man. He also added “Chakri provided excellent music with songs from all genres. This movie will definitely earn a good name to all of us.”
The film has historical elements interspersed into the drama. Vidisha and Meenakshi Dixit are the heroines. Chakri's music and Ravireddy Mallu's screenplay, together with Veerababu Basina's dialogues, are to be watched out for because the film belongs to a distinctive genre. When RJ Bhargavi asked the Tollywood star to comment on what his experience was like having to share the screen with his co - stars, he said “it was a pleasure to work with everyone concerned with film, they are all talented and fantastic people.”

Radio Mirchi even organized an interaction between the star and its listeners. One of the listeners sharing his thoughts, said, “It feels so great to be able to talk to Srikanth. I loved his last movie. It’s a wonderful feeling and I can barely contain my excitement. Thank you so much, Mirchi truly added spice to my day.” The interview ended with Srikanth expressing his gratitude to RJ Bhargavi to have been on the show and encouraging all Radio Mirchi listeners to catch his film this winter, “As it is simply a MUST SEE!!
