Housewives vie for Big Bazaar’s “Sampoorna Mahila” crown at the Grand Finale
Hyderabad, January 18th, 2012- The city got a contemporary yet traditional dose of complete woman, when the housewives from the city, competed with each other in rich and colourful traditional dress contest at the ‘Sampoorna Mahila’ Grand Finale hosted by Big Bazaar at Big Bazaar, Kacheguda on Friday. Each of the contestants enchanted Tollywood singer Ms Kaushilya and other judges with their talent to vie for the Big Bazaar’s “Sampoorna Mahila” crown. Big Bazaar’s “Sampoorna Mahila” Winner, 1st Runner up and 2nd Runner up each from Big Bazaar Ameerpet, Tarnaka and Kachiguda stores were announced.
The Big Bazaar’s Winners from each store are
BIG BAZAAR Ameerpet store - Mahalakshmi (Winner), Bhavana (1st Runner up) & Lakshmi (2nd Runner up).
BIG BAZAAR Tarnaka store - Navanitha (Winner), Malathi (1st Runner up) & Vanaja (2nd Runner up).
BIG BAZAAR Kachiguda store - Sunitha (Winner), Sashikala (1st Runner up) & Srividhya (2nd Runner up).
Over 17000 housewives participated in “Sampoorna Mahila” contest at Big Bazaar from Hyderabad. The final 30 contestants were chosen through two rounds of skills in traditional Rangoli contest and a cooking contest from the 17000 housewives who evinced interest by filling a form. The shortlisted winners were called for a Grand Finale at Big Bazaar Kachiguda store along with their families.
The three winners of the Big Bazaar’s “Sampoorna Mahila” Grand finale, got one year’s grocery free (each winner gets Rs 15000 vouchers), free makeover vouchers from Star & Sitara and a lifetime opportunity to be a celebrity in its own right by becoming a part of print ad, outdoor & an opportunity to go Live on Radio Mirchi.
