Press Meet: Pt. Bhimsen Joshi National Festival of Music and Dance Hyderabad 2013

Suranjali Foundation, a Non-profit Foundation for the cause of promoting, propagating & nurturing India Music and Dance and also providing platform to up & coming talents of the Country, is making its maiden efforts to raise funds for various novel projects. This Festival is being organized In Aid of "Simply give" and "Care for Autism".

Music Lovers of Hyderabad in many occasions came forward to offer their gratitude and respect to the noble souls who propagated Indian Classical Music transcending even Indian boundaries. With the same spirit and synergy, Bhimsen Joshi Festival, was conceived for the first time in Hyderabad and it got institutionalized as an Annual National Festival of Music and Dance in Hyderabad.

This year, the festival is being organized from Friday, 5th April, 2013 to Sunday, 7th April, 2013 at Shilpakalavedika, Madhapur, Hyderabad with proactive patronage and support from Tata Capital, A.P.Tourism, TATA Projects Ltd, SBH, Kirtilals, SVC Bank, Andhra Bank, Marigold Green Park Hotel and DD Bharati as TV Partner and HT as our Media Print Partner and Radio City as FM partner. A three day program will witness stalwarts in classical music being performed live to enthrall the audience.

In a press conference organized today in Hotel Marigold, Sri Mohan Hemmadi, Chairman Suranjali Foundation said "You will be happy to know that our association with Bharat Ratna Late Pt. Bhimsen Joshiji goes back to five decades. Bharat Ratna Late Pt. Bhimsen Josh i is an international figure with his followers spread all over the world. To show our deep gratitude and honour to this great heavenly soul, Suranjali Foundation has initiated a Festival dedicated to Pt. Bhimsen Joshi in Hyderabad in 2012 was a grand success in terms of Artist participation. music lover's response and also a very good feedback from the entire music community of India and abroad and also the Media."
