Ten-day Hyderabadi Food Festival kicks off
Offering delicacies from the famed Hyderabadi cuisine for both Vegetarians and Non-vegetarians alike
Hyderabad: 26 March 2013: Rich, spicy and aromatic the Hyderabad cuisine is as famous as the city itself. A visit to Hyderabad is considered incomplete without a treat of the famed Hyderabadi biryani to one's taste buds. Bringing the Hyderabadi cuisine in its purest form for the food lovers and aficionados are Aashrith Hotels' specialty restaurants — 36 Bar-B-Q and 36 Chhattees, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. A ten-day Hyderabad Food Festival offering delicacies from the famed Hyderabad cuisine kicked off here at Restaurant 36 Chhattees today. The food festival will be open from 12.30PM to 3.30PM and 7.00PM TO 11.30PM till 05th April 2013.
Mr.Gandra Praveen Rao, CMD of Aashrith Hotels Pvt. Ltd. informed that the ten-day festival will offer foodies delicacies from Hyderabad cuisine, which is a unique amalgamation of Non-vegetarian and Vegetarian dishes. Special care has been taken for the dishes on the menu so that it appeals to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. With over 20 years of experience in the food industry.
Mr. Rao made a humble beginning and went on to setup Ultimate Hospitality Services (UHS) catering to many MNCs. UHS was one of the first few catering companies to have got HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point), a Global Certification in India. Ultimate Hospitality Services was later acquired by Compass Group, the world's leading food service and facility Management Company. Now he has forayed into specialty restaurants in city such as 36 Chhattees, 36 Bar-B-Q — Jubilee Hills, 45 Jubilee Hills, 36 Bar-B-Q — Seceunderabad and Bagara.
Giving details Executive Chef Uday informed that the Hyderabadi Food Festival will offer soups such as Marag and Tomato Shorba; delicacies such as Talawa Gosht, Hyderabadi Raan, Turki Kebab, Nizami Murgh Tikka and Lalmirch Paneer Tikka make up the starters. For the main course there are dishes such as Dum ka Murgh, Machi Mahekali, Nizami Handl, Dum ka Baingan, Tarnate k. Kut, ltdaddu Dalcha, Subz Dum Biryani, Kache Gosht ka Biryani. Desserts such Qubani Ka Meetha, Double ka Meetha and Sheer Kurma will provide a perfect way to finish the culinary experience.
