HDCF Confluence XIII on How to Scale up Your Small Business

Hyderabad, 19th May 2013: Hyderabad Director / CEO Forum has organised its Confluence XIII with a Panel Discussion on "How to Scale Up your Small Business" at Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Center on Sunday, 19th May 2013.

The exciting event started with MrSeshadriPadigala, Director — ODC Standards Certifications (P) Ltd. welcoming guests, members and other dignitaries to the event. Afterlighting the special ceremonial lamp by guests, Mr.YagantiVenkateshwarlu, Chief Patron — HDCF along with Newsletter Team cut a special cake and unveiled the Special Anniversary Edition of Converge, HDCF's Monthly Newsletter. Speaking on this occasion, Mr.Yaganti has lauded the efforts of Newsletter Team in completing one year, covering many success stories, member profiles, domain specific articles, etc. He urged all the members to take the Advertisement opportunity and promote their products and services. The main Panel discussion started with the theme introduction by Mr.VVSSB Shankar, Director - Dipamkara Web Ventures (P) Ltd. who had wide experience in launching tech brands, business scale ups, M&A, Financial restructuring and turnarounds, Valuations, Deal Making, Negotiation, Post Acquisition integration, etc. Mr. Shankar explained that by going through past statistics, many businesses fail to scale up successfully. He shared that managing sustainable growth is incredibly important for Small Medium Enterprises.

The exciting panel discussion included many ways and means of developing a successful growth strategy, process to assesscompany's current business performance, setting vision for business growth, factors to be followed in facing the challenges, methods of building effectives teams, delegation techniques for scaling up businesses and overall significance of brand to business scale up.

Mr. C. Parthasarathy, Chairman& Managing Director— Karvy Group, who has been amongst the first few professionals from Hyderabad who were successful in creating an all India organisation in the financial services segment has stressed upon various growth strategies that help in controlling Finance and IT resourcesin order to scale up their businesses to the next level.

Mr.Y. Srinivas Reddy, Founder & Managing Director - BevconWayorsPvt. Ltd., who has been spearheading operations at Bevcon for more than two decades, shared his views on theme as Governance is the crucial factor to be considered in scaling up the businesses / enterprises. He touched up on few points to be taken care from the Manufacturing stand point.

Mr.Muralidhar, Chairman — TMI Group, a1800+ employee HR Consulting firm with pan-India presence,extolled that for Scaling up Enterprise one needs to have focus on Funding strategies and people management.

Mr. Krishna Kishore Dundigalla, Vertical Head, TCS SMB Healthcare, who has over 18 years in business areas like Healthcare & Insurance, Sales, Delivery, Business Analysis and Business Process Designing / Outsourcing, opined that Technology and Cost-centric scaling approach, are two major essentials for any enterprise. Informative and intriguing discussions made the rounds this Sunday evening with over 200 attendees getting professionals.
