Under its Connect CSR initiative, FLO works to 'Educating the Girl Child'. CONNECT- CSR's vision is founded on the firm belief that education is the fundamental right of every child and no child should be deprived of this basic right due to lack of access, opportunity, adequate resources or socio-economic circumstances.

FLO believes that female education generates powerful poverty-reducing synergies and uplifts the general socio-economic fabric of the country.FLO Hyderabad supports two Govt. School in Hyderabad - Gachibowli ZP High School and Govt. High School, Erramanzil and has reached out to more than 600 students till date and of these more than 60% are girl students. It plans to support more schools in the future.

FLO Hyderabad Chapter envisions bringing in social and economic transformation by educating the less fortunate children in Government Schools in Hyderabad. We perceive a better tomorrow through the single minded focus - empowering women & Girl child through education. With the involvement and support from several individuals, corporate and business houses and also non¬profit organizations, FLO works towards rehabilitation and betterment of children belonging to the underprivileged and vulnerable sections of the society, with primary focus on Girl Child, informed Ms. Jyotsna Angara, Chairperson, FLO Hyderabad Chapter.

Adding further, Ms. Jyotsna Angara, said, "At grass root level, FLO works to 'Educating the Girl Child'. To this end, we identified three Government schools that either had no English teacher or one with poor skill sets. The schools are: 1) Zilla Parishad Govt. School at Gachibowli (2) Government High School at Kothaguda (3) Government High School at Erramanzil and we train students from classes 6th - 9th. We employed well qualified teachers under the FLO banner and gave specialized training to teach and build good communication skills for these students.

FLO concentrates on two major deterrents in the empowerment of the girl child - Academics and Infrastructure. FLO provides academic support and along with the supporting organizations takes care of infrastructure needs. FLO has constructed two classrooms at the ZP Government High School, Gachibowli, Hyderabad in 2013.
