Rape is described by people as one of the most common crimes against women in India today. Molestation and abuse is faced by every female in the society. In buses, local trains, cabs, etc. There are few places for the women that can be considered safe. India's rape pandemic keeps raging uncontrollably, questioning the safety for women. UN's human-rights chief has declared rapes as the "National Problem" in India. Every two minutes somewhere in the world, women are sexually harassed. Out of 2,48,000 victims approx, 87,000 were identified as rape victims and 70,000 were physically abused. The change in the thought process of men will bring the ultimate end to the women assaults across the globe embedded with robust laws.

"V Men for Women" is one such unique and innovative idea being organized by Team V-Men and Sri Safe Hand's. This event is being held to create awareness among public on "Violence against Women" and it will b.e for the first time in Hyderabad where a fashion show platform is being used to create awareness in the public on the evils against women in the society.

Female models along with celebrities will walk the ramp for the first time with bruised make-up depicting the trauma and pain a woman goes through, doing justice to the reason behind the fashion show.

"The fashion show medium is decided to be used by us as the designers can communicate with the public visually and convey the message effectively. The collection showcases the trauma and the pain the girl goes through after the incident. The facial make-up of the models is one of its kinds which has never been seen on the ramp before." said one of the organizers.

Fashion is a term that relates people from all over the world hence such a platform can reach the maximum number of public across the globe. Also it ensures the maximum digital exposure on the subject.

Popular Tollywood star Rana Daggubati along with national fashion designer Ad Singh will walk the ramp in support of the cause.

A special performance by India's Got Talent winners "Beat Breakers" and Band Astitva is also a part of the show.
