The Multiple Sclerosis Society of India (MSSI)-Hyderabad Chapter is a registered charitable, non-profit voluntary organization initiated on 4th September 2005. MSSI is the only organization helping and supporting patients suffering with Multiple Sclerosis. The Head Office is in Mumbai and other Chapters are at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a disease of the Central Nervous System i.e. the brain and the spinal cord, affecting its functioning unexpectedly and repeatedly, resulting in devastating disabilities in young people in the prime of their lives. MS most often strikes in young adulthood, and is not a killer. The patient lives a normal span of life but slowly may become more and more disabled, causing trauma in life, since there is no cure. The whole family of the MS patient gets affected financially, physically and emotionally.
MSSI helps the MS patients by providing various welfare services such as counseling, home physiotherapy, medical reimbursements, providing supplementary medicines like calcium, multi-vitamins, steroid injections etc. We provide aids and equipments like wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc. and go for home visits to see the home bound patients. We organize medical camps, workshops, seminars and recreational programs for the MS patients and their families. MSSI invites Doctors and guest speakers from various fields of activity to have interactive sessions with the MS patients and their caregivers.
All the services provided by MSSI need constant flow of funds for which we need your support.
All donations are exempted from Income Tax under Section 80G. Cheques are to be made in favor of MSSI Hyderabad Chapter.
Art for Causes is dedicated to promoting art with a purpose. Our objective is to collaborate with NGOs that share our vision and work with them on their ongoing projects.
Art For Causes is a registered Not For Profit initiative that works with artistes from all creative genres. We propose to raise funds for NGOs that are instrumental in improving the lives of the differently abled and underprivileged through ongoing offline and online activities.
Since its inception in 2014, Art For Causes has organized four events to help NGOs such as Impact (Caring for Children with Cancer), Society to Save the Rocks, Blue Cross of Hyderabad, Multiple Sclerosis Society - Hyderabad Chapter. Art For Causes recently collaborated with UNICEF to curate an exhibition of photographs 'Glimpses of Childhood’ to commemorate the 25 years of the International Convention of Child Rights

Currently we are working with Teach For India, Hyderabad Chapter, wherein they identify bright children from low income groups. Art For Causes helps them raise funds for their education.
