Bhavanotsav Day 2014 (Day 1)

Bhavan’s Vivekananda College celebrated its annual inter-collegiate Event ‘Bhavonotsav’ on 27th and 28th of August,2014. Bhavonotsav started in the year 2003 but it has been gaining in strength and popularity with every passing year. In recent years it has taken the shape of a Mega Event with a participation of around 100 colleges and 5000 students.

It is a great convergence point for the student community, to exhibit their academic prowess and talent and also to create a conducive atmosphere to learn and grow as an individual.

The program started with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Air Cmde (Retd) J.L.N.Sastry,VSM,Vice Chairman,BVC ; and Guest of Honour Col.M.Vijay Rao,Hon. Director,BVC. This was followed by the prayer and the inaugural cultural program.

A wide array of competitions was organized by all the Departments of the college. There were around 27 formal events and 18 informal events. Events in the special category were ‘Slow Bike Race’ and ‘Treasure Hunt’.
