‘Vineet Bahl’ is known for unconventional embroideries, mélange of prints, vivid colors and easy fluid silhouettes. More than fashion, the label celebrates an evolved sense of style and more importantly a frame of mind free of strictures and conformities of any kind.

Vineet spent his formative years at Doon School, India and realized his connect with fashion rather early. Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Lacroix spurred him and even before he knew, he wanted to be a name in fashion. England happened next where he studied at Nottingham Trent University. Soon after, he headed back to India where he launched his eponymous label ‘Vineet Bahl’ in 2007. In the same year he had his first showcasing of the label at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai. Two seasons later, he was invited to show at Rosemount Fashion week, Australia. And ever since, he’s been showing his label at Delhi Fashion Week and at other international forums such as Tranoi, Coterie and Whosnext.

Vineet’s Indian wear label – VINEET BAHL 'PREMIER’ is all about celebrating the rich Indian textile history creatively interspersed with much researched and long forgotten embroidery techniques. His AW13 collection called ‘Awadh’ was all about interpreting ‘chikankaari’ in a modern way.
