Sub:- Endowments Department - Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy Temple

Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad - Severe illegal acts by Sri Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad - Stern action requested - Regarding.

We, the residents of N.B.T Nagar, Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad submit the following few facts for taking immediate action.
We submit that, it is aware that, the controversial issue of leasing of Acs. 4-32 Gts of land situated in T.S No. 4/1 & 4/2 of Shaikpet Village, Road No. 12, Banjara Hills by the then Seemandhra Government to a sham organization namely Hare Krishna Movement has developed serious discontentment among us who are the local people and we have submitted several representations to the Government for cancellation of G.O.Ms.No. 359, dt.29.02.2009 which was issued purely at the behest of Jyothi Kurakula, Joint Commissioner of Endowments and the matter was also hugely criticized published in Print and Electronic media . Further, considering the serious hue and cry raised by us about the clandestine lease of the above valuable land, the Government through District Collector has already taken over part of its land in T.S No.4/2 and also in pursuance of the instructions issued by the Government, recently the Commissioner of Endowments who was pleased to conduct a detailed study of available reports submitted by various authorities like Lokayuktha and Chief Commissioner of Land Revenue etc., strongly recommended to the Government for cancellation of the above G.O which is under consideration before the Government-Revenue (Endowments) Department.

We further submit that, though the Government have taken over possession of part of its land in T.S No. 4/2 and knowing fully that, the Government is actively considering to cancel G.O.Ms.No. 359, dt.28.02.2009, the Hare Krishna Movement which has not taken up any construction work since last 6 years has suddenly and terrifyingly started blasting operations with a view to give an impression to the Government that the construction work is in progress and also attempting to dismantle all the ancient structures in the site including the ancient Shivalayam and causing irretrievable loss to this ancient religious institution and offending our religious sentiment towards the temple to which were are attached to since our ancestral’s time.

In this connection, we submit that, the organizers of Hare Krishna Movement have illegally captured and kept the ancient Lakshmi narsimha Swamy Vari temple under their clutches duly locking the main gates of the temple and not allowing any local people into the temple premises and doing all illegal activities detrimental to the interests of the temple and spoiling the religious atmosphere of the temple and peace and tranquility in the locality.

l) They have locked the main temple gate with effect from 14.05.2014 and shifted the main deities from its original location due to which the entire basti people are suffering as it is adversely effected their lives due to strong attachment they have with the deities. As the ritual services like Brahmostavams, Tirunakshatrotsavalu, Pavithrotsavalu are not performed to the deity by them, it is badly effecting on the local people. Due to the above, about 30 deaths are taken place in the locality within last three months.
2) Violation of Sec 13 of Endownment act by violation panchagama sasthra principal witch was originally fallowed in the temple.
3) Without Agreement of lease registered they taken blasting and construction process and also Without permission of Endowment Department either stapathy, Engineer work continued illegally
4) The temple being Vaikhanasa Vaishnava Sampradayam, Hare Krishna Movement people belongs to Goudya Sampradayam.
5) They have carried out blasting operations of the age old heritage rock of the temple and cut across the 60000 Sft. Rock and sold away the rock metal and cut ancient Shivalayam from underneath, which needs to be verified by the Technical experts.
6) Hare Krishna Movement people have dismantled the old Dwajasthamabam and cut across Swamy Padukulu, removed Anjaneya Swamy Dwara Palaka and Deepa Sthambam and thrown out recklessly.
7) They have shifted the dities from its original place and placed the same in a Watchman Room where all sorts of illegal things are taken place and named it as a Balalayam which is a shame activity and offends all the hundu people.
8) Balalayam process should not arrases because it is Swaymbu Sri laxmi narshimha swamy in rock.
9) The main rock to which the prinicipal diety Sri lami narshimha swamy is engraved or incarnated has been destroyed.
10) Deviation of GHMC approved plan w hich Hare Krishna movement submitted and current construction.
11) They are not allowing the local people to conduct Nidra in the temple after completion of 12 days as per Hindu custom in connection with deaths of their near and dear.
12) Since the date of closure of the temple from last 1 years, no Pujas are conducted to the dities which is ultimately effecting the local people.
13) They have sub-leased a Shed named as Sankeerthana Bhavan constructed by them for commercial purpose.
14) Hare Krishna Movement people are doing antisocial activities in the land and one of its member was involved in a case of outrage of modesty of a housemaid and an FIR No. 792/2011 under section 448 & 354 in Banjara Hills Police Station is registered.
15) It is an age old practice in the locality to conduct Batukamma which is a State Festival of Telangana by the women and thereafter conduct nimajjanam. As usually, this year also, when the local women wanted to conduct Batukamma Yesterday i.e 14. JO.2015 and for this purpose the* GHMC workers wanted to clean the Pushkarini, they have not allowed the GHMC workers to do their duties and insulted the State festival Batukamma with filthy language and misbehaved with local women.

2) Hare Krishna Movement is collecting donations duly categorizing the donors on the basis of the quantum of donations i.e Rs. l Crore-Mahabhaktudu, Rs. 50 Lakhs- Platinum Membership, Rs. 25 Lakhs-Gold Membership, Rs. 10 Lakhs-Silver Membership etc. , but not allowing a single local people to enter into the temple to have darshan and infringing their rights which the local people are enjoying since their ancestral’s time.
3) The main temple being Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy since last so many centuries and the Hare Krishna Movement is making Sri Prabhupada as Main deity and making the temple as main Krishna Temple and make Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy Varu as a sub temple. They are also changing the area name as Hare Krishna Hills, MLA Colony whereas it is Sri Narsing Bhagvan Temple Nagar (NBT Nagar) since so many centuries.
4) They are not following the Vastu principles and not taking advise of Endowments Departmental Stapathies and Shilpies which is badly effecting the local people.
We submit that all the above illegal activities of Hare Krishna Movement people are ultimately turning into Amangalam to the basti people and ultimately effecting their lives, since about SO persons have died in last three months due to the above illegal and highhanded shame activities dc^ne by Hare Krishna Movement people in the ancient temple.
In view of the above circumstances, we request to kindly appraise the above facts to the Press and see that;
i) To see that the closed main temple is open to the local public.
ii) To see that CBCID enquiry is conducted as already recommended by the Commissioner of' Endowments;
iii) To see that the G.O.Ms.No. 359, Revenue (F2ndts.II) Dept, is cancelled by the Government immediately;
To see that the temple is Rehanded over to Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy Vari Devasthanam, Yadagirigutta as was earlier.
