A world-class photographic exhibition comprising of sixty vintage and rare photographs of the World’s Greatest Guitarists

Vivanta by Taj and Gibson Brands Incorporated together present Gibson Through The Lens - an exclusive photography exhibition of legendary musicians and their Gibson Guitars, taken by iconic rock photographers - at Tease, Vivanta by Taj, Begumpet.

Hyderabad, October 27, 2014: As part of its 120th anniversary celebrations this year, Gibson Brands Inc. has partnered with Vivanta by Taj to offer Indian audiences a unique visual treat in the form of Gibson Through The Lens. This highly acclaimed and historic, musical photo exhibition will display rare visuals of the world’s most iconic artists enjoying private moments with their Gibson guitars, be it backstage, on the tour bus, at home or live on stage. After having successfully exhibited the collection in London, Berlin, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney and Los Angeles, Gibson Through The Lens’ is set for its India debut starting at Wink, Vivanta by Taj - President, Mumbai followed by Tease, Vivanta by Taj, Begumpet from November 6 - November 12 before moving onto 3 more Vivanta cities - Chennai, Bangalore and Gurgaon.

Curated by music photography archivist Dave Brolan, Gibson Through The Lens showcases the works of thirty of the world’s most respected rock photographers including Baron Wolman, Neal Preston, Mick Rock, Bob Guerin, Ross Halfin and the late Jim Marshall.

The exhibition consists of sixty fine photographic prints signed by the photographers featuring the who’s who of rock royalty as well as undisputed guitar heroes such as Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Angus Young, Frank Zappa, Eric Clapton, Bob Marley, Johnny Cash, John Fogerty, B.B King, Jeff Beck, Les Paul, Carl Perkins, Elvis, Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, Wes Montgomery, Sir Paul McCartney, Pete Townshend, Slash, Dave Grohl, Lenny Kravitz, Jon Bon Jovi, Jack White and Noel Gallagher to name a few.
