Tana Swara Tarangini Boston - Hudhud Fund Raising Musical Night

Telugu Association of Greater Boston (TAGB) in association with TANA organized a fundraising musical night, Swara Tarangini on November 1, 2014 at Littleton High School, Boston, MA to support TANA’s HUDHUD cyclone relief efforts in state of Andhra Pradesh. Recent natural calamity HUDHUD, a cyclone that hit the coast line of Andhra Pradesh devastated several lives and cities. Swaratarangini, an entertainment filled high note musical event was attended by more than 1000 people. The over booked event displays the strength and solidarity of the community coming together in joining hands with TANA with a strong vision of rebuilding the lives of the victims of hurricane HUDHUD.

Popular Actor Naga Shaurya was the Guest of Honour for the event. He came from India to just participate in the Hudhud Fund raising and support the cause and he thanked Tana for inviting him. His speech was very inspiring. He also shaked his leg while Hemachandra sang. His participation in the event added a lot of value to the event.

Famous play back singers, Vijayalakshmi, Hemachandra , Sravana Bhargavi and Parinika entertained the audience with a range of songs from various genres right from the likes of classics to the latest popular peppy songs and upbeat dance songs while

Mimickry Ramesh entertained the audience with his standup comedy and mimicry.

Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni felicitated Hero Naga Shourya while various TAGB committee members felicitated all the visiting artists.

TANA President, Mohan Nannapaneni took the privilege of presenting a documentary on TANA’s efforts in serving the community. His inspirational speech about TANA and its various outreach activities was mind blowing. Charity activities, restoration activities, 3 university reopening’s, free cataract eye surgery and cancer screen camps, free house building plans for HUDHUD victims’ in Andhra Pradesh and various outreach activities to the needy of community in and around USA on numerous occasions were just a few examples of TANA’s endless endeavors. He assured that TANA team along with its members and innumerable volunteers will stretch above and beyond to serve the needy in community wherever they are. He urged people to come forward in great numbers to be part of TANA and take part in their efforts to serve the Telugu community.

TAGB President, Ram Gubbala and his team felicitated the show organizers Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni, Ravi Potluri and Rao Yalamanchili and extended a very warm appreciation to TANA for supporting and organizing this fund raising event across various cities in USA.
