7th Edition of Kids Fair 2016 Inauguration at HITEX Exhibition Center

Speaking immediately after the inauguration Ali congratulated organizers and if given a chance, he would like to be a kid again. Powered by KidEngage, Hyderabad's premier discovery and engagement platform designed to enable holistic development of children, the organizers have lined workshops, competitions and activities besides the exhibitors showcasing latest products, services and offerings.

Over 100 exhibitors have displayed their new offerings in this fair. The profile of the exhibitors include: Child Care and Daily Use Products, Children Clothing, Accessories, Furniture, Food, Nutritive products, Courses, Trainings, Skills, Health, Medical, Fitness, Innovative Gadgets, Toys, Educational Aids, Tools, Learning Products, Financial & Insurance products, Parental Education in upbringing up children, etc.

Some of the exhibitors include KidEngage, Grolier, Zebronics,, Nickelodeon Sonic, ParentEdge, Brainfeed, Champak, Robinage, LIC of India, Kumon, Cognosia, Next Education, Havmor, TTK Products, Orchids International school, Kings Chess academy, Crossword Book Stores , Sproutz school, etc.

Kuiper has set up stall to create awareness to Astronomy and Space Science Progrms. We will organise Star Gazing on Sunday with help of advanced binoculars, said one of the representative of the company.

KidEngage which is designed to enable holistic development of children is showcasing its platform at the expo. It plans to establish creative learning spaces where children explore their talents in a safe and visually inspiring environment. It’s flagship centre in Manikonda is getting ready, along with activity centers at multiple locations across the twin cities.

The Fair is playing host to a great line-up of kid’s fashion, accessories, games, education and food brands. The Fair provides a comprehensive shopping experience showcasing vendors that appeal to children , and parents alike.

The workshops held include Clay Craft; Strings & Fingers; Snip & Fold; Curls & Squiggles, Science Experiment Zone, etc. The dirty feet which has set up a stall attracted lot of crowd. Dirty Feet is a program meant for urban kids to travel hinterland and enjoy their childhood and learn from rural communities. It is started by two rural travel crazy IRMA graduates, who want to share the joy of simplicity of a nature based rural life and appreciate the skill and labour of rural community. It has taken more than 5000 kids to rural areas to experience rural life.

Some of the activities which children and parents eagerly look forward the Man Machine, Mixed Media Art, Framing a Feast, T-Shirt Painting, Rock Climbing, Dirty Feet, Water Zorbing, Chhota Bheem Show, Shiva Show, Bungee Trampoline and Golf have entertained the visitors.

Water Zorbing was the most fun filled activity that the kids fell in love with over and over again at the Fair. It is a soft adventure activity that involves one to walk in a rolling ball on the water. It is also called a water ball or water-walking ball. It is a large inflatable sphere that allows a person inside it to walk across the surface of a body of water. The giant ball has a zippered entrance to allow for easy entry and exit. It’s a fun way to play water sports as the ball is always revolving, and gets even more challenging as it floats along the way. This sport is safe and is much loved by children of all age groups.

This adventure sport is fun, exciting, thrilling as well as highly entertaining to the participants as well as the onlookers. When after getting into the giant ball, the participant will be tossed around over the water, and that is when they can either choose to stay balanced or just go with the flow and enjoy getting bounced around. Either way, the activity offers fun beyond any measure.

In water Zorbing the kid will be put inside a big plastic ball called the zorb, which is the only means of walking on water in water zorbing. This activity improves their body balance fantastic activity both for the player and onlookers.

Man Machine is a Robotics workshop for the budding engineers. A Sculpture Making Workshop called Mixed Media Art also held for the creative minds. Another interesting activity was a fun corner where cutting and cooking food is an art. T-Shirt Painting is an another activity where kids made their own cool funky T-Shirt with their favorite themes, cartoons and quotes. Bungee Trampoline, the Jumping up high is another soft adventure which will make it more exciting and memorable. Another enthralling sport that will entertain kids will be Rock Climbing, the best outdoor adventure brought indoors.

Robin Age an award winning weekly newspaper for children, whose 25% of content is created by children will set up a stall to spread award about how this forum could be used by children to express their opinion and creativity

More than 50000 foot-fall is expected at the Carnival.

The entry to the fair is put at very nominal at Rs 50/- for adults and Rs 30/- for kids and booking can be done online on KidEngage, bookmyshow and MeraEvents websites.
