Vishnu Manchu, proved his versatility with his 2007 comedy entertainer ‘Dhee’, a film that gave him a good break as hero. Later he attempted few films in different genres but nothing worked out for him. As a result he once again decided to play a safe game by adapting that particular genre and came up with a film ‘Dhenikaina Ready’ which is in lines with his previous blockbuster ‘Dhee’.
G Nageshwara Reddy, who earlier directed hit films like ‘6 Teens’, ‘Girl Friend’, ‘Seema Sastry’ and ‘Seema Tapakai’, wielded megaphone for this film. Before he turned director, Nageshwara Reddy worked as a second assistant director for super hit movies like ‘Rajendrudu Gajendrudu’, ‘Mayalodu’, ‘Yamaleela’, ‘Shubhalagnam’, ‘Maavichiguru’ in the past. The experience of working for films having splendid comedy gave him immense confidence to bet on his skill.
‘Dhenikaina Ready’ is hitting screens worldwide on October 24
th. Vishnu did not reveal even the basic plot of the film, but he claims that the film is like a complete meal to the fans of his ‘Dhee’ film. The stills and trailers also indicate that the film is a full-fledged comedy entertainer. Vishnu is playing dual role as Krishna Sastry (Brahmin) and Suleiman (Muslim). The film also stars cute and bubbly
Hansika Motwani opposite Vishnu. Apart from the lead pair, it includes Dr Brahmanandam, Roja, Vikram, Kota Srinivas Rao,
Suman, M S Narayana, AVS and
Seeta in other prominent roles.
Remember, Vishnu and Brahmanandam have had their share of success in the past comedy ‘Dhee’. Therefore, the audience can expect a solid comedy from the duo in ‘Dhenikaina Ready’. Along with Vishnu and
Brahmanandam, brilliant comic actors like M S Narayana, Kota Srinivas Rao and
AVS share the same screen in this film increasing the expectations of audience when it comes to comedy. This apart, Vishnu and Hansika’s feel good romantic sequences would attract the youth audience. After tasting success with ‘Kandireega’ and ‘Oh My Friend’, Hansika appears to have got back her lost glory in Telugu. She is very confident about her role in this film and confident of another resounding success with ‘Dhenikaina Ready’.
Meanwhile, Vishnu seems to have understood his ability to expand the market for his films in the south, especially in Kerala, where there is lot of demand for Telugu films. Hence he dubbed the film in Malayalam and plans to release within two days of the release of the original film ‘Dhenikaina Ready’, (that is on October 26). As known to all, ‘Dhenikaina Ready’ was made on his own banner ‘24 Frames Factory’ with Dr Mohan Babu as producer. His twin daughters Ariana and Viviana are presenting the film. The actor is quite busy these days promoting ‘Dhenikaina Ready’ in various forms including new ways of promoting his film like a 5 minute sneak preview in USA.
The film had already generated good craze among the movie buffs with its music composed by Chakri and Yuvan Shankar Raja. Vishnu celebrated the audio success in Bangalore and Kerala with two great actors, Kannada super star Ambarish and Malayalam super star Mohan Lal. There are altogether 5 songs in the film, of which 2 were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and 3 songs and the re-recording was done by
Chakri. Lyrics for the songs were penned by Tollywood’s leading lyricists, Anantha Sriram, Bhaskara Bhatla, Ramajogayya Sastry and
Chandra Bose. Similarly top singers like Shankar Mahadevan, Hema Chandra, Adnan Sami, Geeta Madhuri, Sravana Bhargavi and Tippu crooned the songs. Interestingly
Yuvan Shankar Raja lent his voice to the song ‘Pilla Neevalla’ along with Sraddha Pandit.
In this film, Vishnu got to do some heavy dance moves and if the audience calls him an extraordinary dancer, it has to be credited to choreographer Prem Rakshit. The actor already praised him for the wonderful steps. The songs were picturised in exotic locations in Bangkok and Europe. Siddharth handled the camera.
