I’ve great respect for teaching profession, because it makes the students disciplined and change them into responsible citizens. All of you are aware that I was a teacher before I became an actor. I worked for an year and later was abandoned by the school authorities since I belonged to a different caste. My father, Narayana Swamy worked as a teacher too. He spent his entire life in raising the children and settling them in life. I acquired the same discipline from my father. I’m telling all this because I’m proud to announce that I’m going to celebrate the Graduation Day in the educational institute ‘Sri Vidyaniketan’ established by me. 200 M.Tec students will be given the certificates. I’m very happy and proud to say that the chief guest of this event will be my good old friend Puducherry Lt Governor Dr Iqbal Singh. It is an unforgettable event that I established an educational institute and providing 25% fees exemption for poor students irrespective of caste and religion. You all are aware that my guru Dasari Narayana Rao garu is the man behind my immense growth in my life. He changed my name from ‘Bhaktavatsalam’ to ‘Mohan Babu’, gave me the opportunity in most of his films and help me grow to this level. On this occasion I thank each and everyone in the industry who supported me, audiences, fans and media. Yet another happy news to be shared with the media is that Sri Vidyaniketan Institute has joined the list of Autonomous Institutes.
