Superstar Rajinikanth's eagerly awaited Vikrama Simha ( Kochadaiiyaan in Tamil) is set for release on May 9th worldwide in as many as six languages. The producers of the film announced several dates in the past but could not honor them. Now, they have made the official statement saying that the Rajinikanth starrer would definitely hit the screens on May 9th.
"We are happy to share the official confirmation - #Kochadaiiyaan slated for release on May 9th," said Media One Global, co-producers of the film. The Rajinikanth starrer 3D animation film is expected to release in 6 Indian languages in 4,000 screens world-wide. An official announcement of the release date is expected soon with newspaper ads with the release date soon. The film is an epic dramatization of the good versus evil starring Superstar Rajinikanth in a double role and has music by A R Rahman.
'Kochadaiiyaan'[Vimkramasimha] is the first photo realistic 3D film produced in India, directed by Soundarya. The film is jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment and includes Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Sarath Kumar, Aadhi, Shobana and others in the cast.
The movie is directed by Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya Ashwin and has music by A R Rehman. Other cast members are Deepika Padukone, Shobhana, Nasser and Jackie Shroff.
