It was announced earlier that Mahesh Babu will inaugurate his multiplex during Deepawali and the opening movie will be Thugs of Hindostan. He had big plans. Mahesh Babu wanted to get Aamir Khan for the inauguration as well.
But nothing of this sort happened. Aamir Khan did not come to Hyderabad to promote his film. Mahesh Babu changed his plans at the last moment. The opening of the theatre was pushed to another day.
The latest plan is to start this theatre with Rajinikanth's 2.0. The film releases on November 29. Now that Thugs of Hindostan has flopped, Mahesh surely must be sighing relief at his wise decision.
