Undoubtedly, Prabhas and Prashanth Neel are two of the most heard names in India, after the massive success of the Baahubali franchise and KGF-1, respectively. Both the actor-director duo joining hands for an action entertainer, Salaar, has hinted that another solid pan-India film is gearing up to shatter the previous records in India Cinema.
Now, OTT giants are trying to bag the rights of the Prabhas starrer as they hope to expand their viewers by using a film like Salaar.
As per reports, Amazon made a bid a couple of months ago, but makers did not accept the deal yet. However, the streaming giant has now made another even higher bid.
Amazon is offering more than double of what they paid for one of the most awaited pan India movies KGF Chapter2. The exact figure is not disclosed yet, but it could be more than Rs 100+ Cr for all languages. It is worthy to mention that Amazon has quoted this amount even watching the teaser and any other glimpses from the film.
