Last week, Soundarya Rajinikanth personally made a donation of Rs 10 lakh to the Tamil Nadu CM's Public Relief Fund towards coronavirus relief. Today, Superstar Rajinikanth made a donation of Rs 50 lakh by physically going to meet with the new CM, MK Stalin.
After meeting with the CM, the 'Kabali' actor said that the virus can be defeated only if people abide by the covid protocol.
The actor recently returned to Chennai from Hyderabad. He is fully vaccinated.
'Annaatthe', starring him in the lead, is directed by Siva. The film will head to theatres for Diwali.
