On Saturday, Team 'Liger' was in Guntur for a pre-release event of the film. The event had in attendance the film's core team, especially director Puri Jagannadh.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Deverakonda said that 'Liger' is his career's biggest film. "I have been to 20 towns in the last 20 days. My body is not cooperating. Yet, if I came here, it is only to receive your love. Everywhere we have been across India, the love has been immense. I will savour the memories of these 20 days long after I cease to do films. 'Liger' is a big step in the direction of me giving back your love," Vijay said.
"After listening to the script of this film, the one word that came from my mouth is this: Mental. That's also the word I kept uttering while shooting for the film every day! That's the amount of excitement this film gave me. We are just five days away from the film's theatrical release. I can guarantee you all that this film is going to making a killing," Vijay added.
On August 25, this film should shake Guntur, Vijay said.
