August 11 this year is going to witness the clash of titans. On the one hand, Mahesh Babu's SSMB28 is going to hit the cinemas. The film is directed by Trivikram. Recently, producer S Naga Vamsi said that the plan is to release the film on August 11.
Then there is 'Jailer' that is also rumouredly going to be released on the same date. The Rajinikanth-starrer was supposed to hit the cinemas in April or May this year. But its shoot has got delayed. Therefore, it has been postponed to August as per some reports.
Finally, there is 'Animal', the pan-India film starring Ranbir Kapoor and directed by 'Arjun Reddy' fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga. There is a good deal of craze for the movie in Telugu although it is headlined by a Bollywood star.
'Animal' won't get postponed because the Hindi market is its main focus, and also Hindi films don't change the release date unless it is really inevitable. On the other hand, SSMB28 and 'Jailer' will focus more on the Telugu States and Tamil Nadu, respectively. So, their postponement may not happen either.
