'Mangalavaaram' is slated to be released in theatres later this year. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi of 'RX 100' fame, the film recently concluded its shoot. "We wrapped up the shoot earlier this week. It took 99 days to finish the shoot," the makers said.
Starring Payal Rajput as Shailaja, the film will feature night scenes aplenty. The night scenes alone took 51 nights. Thrilling scenes were shot on Payal and 30 other artists, most of whom have pivotal roles in the film.
The makers are fully confident that Bhupathi's third film will leave a lasting impression. Going by a making video unveiled today, some scenes are set in the backdrop of a ritual. Is there a spin? We will not know.
Ajaneesh Loknath B of 'Kantara' and the more recent 'Virupaksha' fame is composing music. Together with the script, the makers believe that his music will sustain the momentum.
A Creative Works and Mudhra Media Works are working with art director Raghu Kulkarni and sound designer MR Rajakrishnan.
