Manchu Manoj is soon going to make a debut on OTT. He is rumouredly doing a reality game show for ETV Win. People Media Factory, one of the biggest production houses out there, is bankrolling it.
On Friday, Manoj shared the show's promo. "Priyamiyna abhimanula kosam, tirigosthunna koncham kothaga, Sarikothaga ramp adiyadaniki…YOUR ROCKING STAR IS BACK WITH A GAME SHOW! (sic)," he wrote.
The promo, at more than two minutes, doesn't give any clue about the nature of the show. In it, we see the host talk about his passion for cinema, his journey into films, the long hiatus (in the last 7 years or so, he has barely done one movie), his detractors writing him off, and how he took everything lying down. He suggests that he agonized over rumour-mongers amplifying the gossip that he won't be acting any longer.
The promo is Manoj-centric. It would have been better had ETV Win come out with a more creative promo focusing on the show.
