It is known that Dr. Mohan Babu has courted controversy by attacking a media person outside his residence on Tuesday evening. Following the incident, journalists based out of Hyderabad have launched a campaign to get him arrested.
The journalists are likely to rally public opinion to get Mohan Babu stripped of his Padma Shri title. A campaign has also been initiated to get him removed from the Movie Artists Association. But this might not happen, considering that his son, Manchu Vishnu, is leading the MAA. That said, there is also a campaign to get Vishnu removed from the position amid allegations that he and his father have fielded bouncer security services to allegedly intimidate others.
Most of the time, issues of this sort get resolved amicably. Probably, Mohan Babu will tender a public apology to the harmed journalist.

Meanwhile, a 11-minute audio recording in which Mohan Babu is heard addressing his estranged son, Manchu Manoj, is doing the rounds on social media. The veteran actor is heard accusing Manoj of taking things too far because of his alcoholism.
