Allu Arjun's team reacts to political entry rumour

It has been rumoured that Allu Arjun held a closed-door meeting with political strategist and Bihari leader Prashant Kishor, who has in the past assisted YSRCP. A gossip bulletin claimed that Bunny wants to cash in on the immense goodwill afforded to him by his latest film, 'Pusha 2: The Rule'.

On the evening of Thursday, the actor's team refuted the rumour. "We would like to clarify that recent rumours about Mr. Allu Arjun entering into politics are entirely false and baseless. We kindly request media outlets and individuals to refrain from spreading unverified information," the team said.

Allu Arjun has been seen as biased in favour of the YSRCP, although he has made it clear that his support was only for one candidate whom he happens to know as a family friend. He has invited the wrath of the Jana Sena supporters this year. His political entry would have been seen as his statement against Pawan Kalyan. That was never to be, though. The sensational rumour was floated by certain media houses as a clickbaity attempt.
