Balakrishna should tone down his Mokshagna rhetoric

In a recent interview, Nandamuri Balakrishna described his son as a star. So, Mokshagna is not a star-in-the-waiting but a star already! The 'Veera Simha Reddy' actor said that he is least worried about how his son's career will pan out. "I have got at least five scripts for him in mind," Balayya said, suggesting that he is twenty years ahead of others.

Mokshu is a Nepo kid and there are no two ways about it. And Balayya is entitled to launch his son under the direction of the best director in the town. You can't deny him that privilege. But to describe his son as a star is a stretch.

As Akhil Akkineni's career graph has shown, nothing is cast in stone. Nobody can take anything for granted. Nagarjuna, with a studio under his command, hasn't been able to deliver it for Akhil. Balakrishna's confidence could stem from his belief in Mokshagna's calibre. But nobody can predict the outcome of anything in the film industry. If Balayya practices restraint in speech, trolls won't find an opportunity to mock his son in future.
