Recently, Thalapathy Vijay's camp was accused of spreading the rumour that actress Simran wants to work with the actor against his wishes. Simran, who has worked with top actors in both Telugu and Tamil, is upset with the gossip.
In a strongly-worded social media post, Simran wrote that it's "truly disheartening to see how people can emotionally manipulate you and how little your friends seem to care about it". She made it clear that she is not desperate to line up and work with any big heroes. "I have been there and done that. My goals are different now, and as a woman, I know my boundaries," Simran added.
Suggesting that she has had it enough, she almost warned gossip-mongers. "Self-respect comes first. No one cared about my feelings," Simran firmly wrote, adding that she has never taken advantage of her name. A prominent English-language daily had given credence to the gossip. Simran's fans have been demanding an apology from the daily.
