'Anna, Please Invest in PR': Telugu Fans' Plea to Their Heroes

After Naga Chaitanya recently stated that heroes are having to spend up to Rs 3 lakhs per month on Public Relations (PR), a section of Telugu yuvatha have started sympathizing with their favourite heroes, believing that these actors are too naive to realize what Chay has. "Anna, please invest in PR," these fanbois are saying (begging, actually).

It's a moot question why these fan bases want their favourite movie stars to invest heavily in PR. On odd days, they claim that their heroes are worthy of adoration because their work speaks for itself. On even days, they want them to rely on PR because they won't be in public memory otherwise.

If the audience are being told so and so actor has no PR network, it is possible that he has a PR network, which is why you are getting to hear it in the first place. Even to amplify lies, you need a PR base. When Karan Johar once said that Ranbir Kapoor has neither a PRO nor a manager, someone on social media quipped: "People are being told he has no PR because he has a PR. Claiming there is no PR itself is a PR strategy." That holds true for a few other heroes, too, actually.
